It's never been open, and it's in this decorative case.
I found it in an old house that we live in.
It was in a room that I think started out as a pantry, but they were kind of using it as a bathroom, sort of?
And there were quite a few toiletries.
APPRAISER: This is the Lalique D'Orsay powder box, and the pattern's called Le Lys, L-Y-S, Le Lys.
It was made about 1922.
What's awesome about it is... it's unopened.
It's still sealed.
We never see this.
If this was coming to auction today, it'd be worth probably around $500.
GUEST: Ha!
(chuckling): That's funny.
Nice.
APPRAISER: Yeah.
GUEST: Well, thank you.
I think I'm gonna put it on a shelf where my cats can't knock it off.
