It sat on our baby grand piano at our house.
APPRAISER: Have you had any idea where you think it might be from?
GUEST: I thought maybe Italian, but I'm not sure, I... APPRAISER: All right, well, it gives itself away on the bottom here.
There's a little mark impressed.
GUEST: Mm-hmm.
APPRAISER: It stands for Wilhelm Schiller and Son.
They were a Bohemian company...
GUEST: Hm.
APPRAISER: ...in what is now the Czech Republic.
And this was probably made in about 1885 or so, 1890.
GUEST: You think so?
Oh!
APPRAISER: At auction, it's gonna be estimated at at least $800, or maybe $1,200, yeah.
GUEST: Oh, my, really?
(mouths): Wow.
APPRAISER: Oh, yeah.
APPRAISER: It's got a lot going for it.
GUEST: It's good to know that.
