(bright music) - "Intermezzo Chamber Music Series" provides an intimate classical music experience during the summer in the heart of Salt Lake City.

And here to tell us about what's new and different for this season, artistic director, Vedrana Subotic.

Vedrana, always a pleasure to have you.

You do such a beautiful job, and you've been doing it for 23 years.

- Yes, we have been around for 23 years and continue going strong programming beautiful music for our local audiences.

- It's wonderful.

And this series starts this summer on June 24th.

You're moving to Libby Gardner Concert Hall.

- We are, that's new this season.

So I would just like to emphasize that one more time.

Don't go to Westminster, come to University of Utah.

Libby Gardner Concert Hall.

- Wonderful.

Wonderful.

And talk about this series you've got planned.

- Well, we have five concerts, as is our standard and has been for some years now.

And looking at it, I realized that we have a summer of quintets and trios.

We have five quintets, Schubert's delightful "Trout" quintet with double bass.

And then we have two quintets, string quintets by Beethoven and Mozart.

Four piano trios, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Brahms and Smetana.

And as well as two quintets, again, by Beethoven and Mozart for piano and woodwinds.

And then we have, what I would call, a carousel of songs (both laughing) for our first concert this season.

And they will be performed by Brian Stucki and Clara Hurtado Lee.

- Okay, and that's the first one on the 24th?

- That's the first one on the 24th.

- Okay.

- Schubert and songs.

- Great.

Great.

And are you doing any of the piano concert?

- I am, I am performing two of the four piano trios.

I will be playing on July 8th, Tchaikovsky "Piano Trio" and Shostakovich "Number Two."

And then I will also be performing the "Quintets" by Beethoven and Mozart.

- All right.

- As well as the Schubert "Trout."

It's a lot of piano.

- Oh, you're doing a lot.

Well, I can't wait for them.
