Black Sunday of the 1937 Flood

"Black Sunday" dashed hopes that the worst of the flood was over. More rain turned the snow to slush, and the river rose yet again. The flooding led to other disasters. Phil Underwood, then a studio engineer at WLW radio, recalls the fire that started when storage tanks in Camp Washington upended, spilling gasoline.
